Ruby Srivastava is a distinguished former senior government official with extensive experience in taxation, public finance, corporate governance, and regulatory oversight. She holds an LL.M. from National Law University, Bangalore, a Master's degree in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Laws from Delhi University.

She has held several senior leadership positions with the Government of India, including Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax and Director (Finance) on the Board of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), where she was responsible for financial management, project appraisal, capital expenditure oversight, and compliance with corporate and regulatory frameworks. Her career spans revenue administration, appellate functions, prosecution matters, and implementation of large-scale tax reforms.

She currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Seamec Limited, a listed public company, where she chairs multiple Committees and is a member of CSR and Nomination & Remuneration Committees
